September 1st is my New Year's Day; it's time to review, reflect, and refresh. The carefree summer vacation days are winding down, and folks are heading back to school and work. It's time to start thinking about Halloween costumes, who's coming for Thanksgiving, and, for the super-organized, ticking off that Christmas gift list. It's the beginning of the end of the year. The local farms are in full swing for the final harvest and soon they will be preparing the fields for a long winter's nap. The landscape colors begin to turn from lush greens to shades of gold and amber, and the air has a familiar musky scent of Fall with some unmistaken invisible energy. As our second month comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank those of you who took a chance on a new store and placed an order with us. Today's world is filled with internet scams and job losses, and we appreciate that you put your trust in our startup. Your reviews are much appreciated, too, as it helps new customers make their shopping decisions, and assists us in building a good online reputation. The booklet is much smaller than the paper size, so you'll need to trim it down. Any sort of paper cutter will do - I use a Fiscars cutter. Either individually, or a few at...
Is your idea of planning to write your semi-annual dentist appointments on a wall calendar that's always a couple of months behind because you forget to turn the pages? Do you long for a personal planning system that's portable, organized, and flexible - that you'll actually use? I encourage you to try a traveler's notebook.
Traveler's notebooks come in a variety of sizes, colors, and materials. They're less fussy than a spiral-bound or loose-leaf notebook, which make them perfectly portable and attractive to minimalists who prefer streamlined planning and journaling. The notebooks have a simple and clever design, with a cover containing elastic strings inside to hold booklets, folders, or other accessories that can be inserted by slipping them through the elastic bands. The number of elastics varies - it could be from one to 6 or more, depending upon the design and maker. The uses for a traveler's notebook are endless, and limited only by one's imagination. Examples include: Writing Journal Baby/Pregnancy Journal Artwork Designs Task Lists Calendars Project Planning Goal Planning Notes Ideas Habit Tracker...
